Are You Living
Your Dream?
|
|
What
would your life be like if you were doing the
exact thing that would make you completely
happy? What if you spent most of your time doing
what you enjoy and love doing the most? What
skills would you develop to fully express your
natural creative ability? What parts of your
life might be left behind if you moved into a
fuller expression of your true potential? What,
exactly, is your biggest dream? What would it
look like? How would you feel, look, act?
Are you living five out of seven days of each
week of your life waiting to say, “Thank God
it’s the weekend!” Are you putting up with less
than you deserve? Do you feel you deserve less
than complete happiness and self-fulfillment?
Have you put a dream on hold? Have you given up
your dream? Do you remember having one? Is your
dream an “impossible dream”? How do you
reconcile your dream with what your life is like
right now?
Where do we learn to live our dream? Who teaches
that class? What are the requirements? How do
you discover what your own unique dream really
is? What steps must be taken to get there from
where you are now?
Where to begin? I suggest the following steps:
Awaken the dreamer inside of you.
Define your biggest dream.
Let your life be about your dream.
Start the work to build the dream.
Become your dream.
My books, my weekly noticing tips and monthly
newsletters are designed to guide you in
answering the questions above. You will discover
that you have the answers within your grasp. As
you read, write in your journal, talk about the
ideas and questions that I am asking you will
likely begin your journey toward realizing your
dream.
Each week you will be invited to take a closer
look at yourself. You can explore what it is you
really want and rediscover what is important to
you!
As you live true to all your wishes, hopes, and
dreams, your radiance will energize everything
around you. Your shift in consciousness will
empower both yourself, and others. Your dream
path will feel natural and right for you, and
your experience of love and joy will expand
exponentially.
Ask yourself: What if I really did everything it
takes? Could I actually dare to live true to
myself and achieve all my wishes, hopes and
dreams? Could I have…what I say I want? Am I
willing to discover my life purpose and achieve
my dreams?
Dream Circle
Follow all of the following dream tips to
actively, make all your wishes, hopes and dreams
come true!
A daily
practice:
Begin each day by asking yourself this question:
What is the greatest contribution I can possibly
make?
A shift:
Gandhi said, “You must be
the change you wish to see in the world.” My
invitation to you is to live true to the person
you want to be. An affirmation to remind you of
this notion might be: I am the dreamer I want to
be! (Or…make up your own affirmation.)
Stretch:
Begin today to experience yourself in a larger
way. Think of something that would be a real
stretch for you to try and write a statement in
your dream journal…and go do it!
Write in your
Dream Journal:
Make a long list of ways to stretch and really
expand. Then read daily and begin checking them
off as you complete each entry.

Have you ever said this to yourself, I
wake up every morning with the feeling that I am
not living the life I want to be living?
If this happens
to be a feeling you have been having, you might
try writing about a time in your past when you
were experiencing the feelings you want to have
more of now.
Journal to write
one story at a time:
One of my favorite types of stories, I like to
add to my journal, is to imagine a new life
story I want to be having. (I call this
technique, fantasy journaling. Remember the
power of your imagination is limitless!
Possibility thinking, dreaming, fantasy, and
higher self-wisdom have all been explored as

Raising A Dreamer:
If you are reading this, you likely have an
interest in my theories. I am passionate about
the possibilities of every man, woman, and child
living true to their dreams and their fullest
potential! Can you imagine a world in which
every individual is completely immersed in
living his or her dreams? A world in which
people are routinely encouraged to follow their
inner guidance and discover the unique purpose
for their life? A world where individuals are
appreciated and honored when they express their
creative talents and abilities? A world that
encourages and supports every person to grow
toward making a unique contribution to society?
Such a world nurtures its children and provides
a safe and loving environment full of
opportunities for them to thrive and grow into
all they are meant to be. Peace is a natural
outcome of living in such a world.
Each
monthly newsletter will have a Q&A section
designed to build our understanding in this
vital area. This section will be devoted to
assisting and empowering every adult in the
world to encourage and inspire children,
teenagers, and young adults to trust that they
can follow their dreams. And by nurturing and
supporting their possibilities, they will make
their greatest contribution and fulfill their
destiny!
The first question I have for you is:
Were you raised to be a dreamer?
Do you want to find out more about raising a
dreamer? I do! I believe that children are our
future, and that some of our most important work
on this planet is to provide them with the
unconditional love and acceptance, and the
opportunities and resources, that enable them to
fully develop their skills and realize their
potential. I invite you to participate with me
in helping this notion gather momentum and lay
the groundwork for a movement of millions to
leap from the vision into the reality!
So, if you would like to be a part of my
research, write to me and I’ll send you a
questionnaire so you can contribute your ideas,
questions, and input to the new book I am
writing, titled Raising a Dreamer.
This is my vision, and I hope it is yours too.

Notice When I Am Living
According to My Wishes, Hopes, and Dreams
“The only way to discover the limits of the
possible is to go beyond them to the
impossible.” Arthur C. Clark
Becoming aware of when you are living according
to your wishes, hopes, and dreams gives them
shape, definition, and clarity. As you declare
your dream and dedicate yourself to it, the
other parts of your life gradually begin to fall
into place.
Ask yourself:
What is my biggest dream, now, at this moment?
Where am I when I am living according to my
wishes, hopes, and dreams?
What conditions seem to bring about my living in
accordance with my wishes, hopes, and dreams?
What am I doing when I am living according to my
wishes, hopes, and dreams?
What are the circumstances when I am living
according to my wishes, hopes, and dreams?
Who am I with when I am living according to my
wishes, hopes, and dreams?
What do these moments have in common?
Feedback Statement:
What do I notice the above responses saying to
me about moments when I live according to my
wishes, hopes, and dreams?
What conclusions can I draw?
What actions, if any, are suggested?
Remember
Focus on the moment. Let noticing and journaling
become a life long habit that will richly
sustain and support your personal growth. Notice
what brings you inner peace and joy…and then
repeat it! Notice What You Notice...And Keep
Noticing
IN
CLOSING
To live your dream, you must claim it. To claim
your dream, you must embrace it. To embrace your
dream, you must recognize it. To recognize your
dream, you must consciously look and find it.
And…there is no greater journey in the world
than to set off to discover one's own dream.
