Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I would like to have a dream to pursue but can't seem to put my finger on what I would like to do as my life's work. There are many things I think would be interesting but I can't decide. Any suggestions?

Here a few questions to help you to narrow down what your smallest and biggest dreams are. (Write down the questions and give yourself permission to be as outrageous as you can be!)

  1. What do I love doing?

  2. What would I like to leave behind as my legacy?

  3. If someone walked up to me today and asked, "What is your life purpose?" What is my first response?

  4. If I knew I could fulfill my destiny would I follow my hopes, wishes and dreams?

  5. What am I declaring and committing to having, doing and being in 2008?

Q: Now that I have claimed my dream, my life is so different. I seem to be redefining and adjusting constantly. Also, barriers seem to keep getting in the way of my dream. This isn't the way I thought it was supposed to be. Is this to be expected?

A: When you claim your dream, you (and your dream) begin the never-ending process of becoming. Like a precious metal, you are being refined, polished, and perfected. This involves constant movement, which translates to constant change. Transformation is hardly ever comfortable but the metamorphosis is well worth the difficult adjustments that constantly have to be made.

As for the barriers that keep getting in the way, take a good look at them. Very often they follow a consistent pattern and represent where growth must occur for change to take place. Usually these blocks are the most difficult hurdles to overcome. Many give up the challenge at the very point where their commitment to stay in the race is most necessary.

When these barriers are crossed, great progress is made. Fortunately, this same process repeats itself continually so that you can move forward to ever-higher goals. Creation is taking place and the whole universe is supporting. It's not easy and the continuation of this celebrative process to reach out toward your highest self is entirely up to you.

Q: How can I hire a dream coach if I don't have the money?

A: Lack of funds is often perceived as a block by many individuals who say they are ready to live their dream. Here's an exercise that takes some time but is quite worth the effort:

Take a one-year inventory of where you spent the money you earned. What did you spend the money on? What "necessities" did you spend money on? More importantly, what "non-essentials" did you spend money on? Look at your list again. Are there any patterns to your spending? What do these patterns tell you about what you truly value? Why do you think you value these items? Is there a pathway in your spending habits through which you may discover what you do want in your life or, conversely, what you don't want in your life? Can you get rid of some expenses entirely? What are the excuses you have for not getting rid of some of the expenses you know you can do without?

There is a saying that necessity is the mother of invention. When living your dream becomes necessary to you, you'll find the way to reach out toward it. If you have a passion in life, the passion itself will elevate you to overcome the odds. You will dare to begin.

Q: I have noticed most of the people in my world like to talk about what's wrong, instead of what's possible or what's right. What am I doing that attracts this type of individual or why am I attracting this energy?

A: The short answer is: it may be to protect yourself from truly living your dream. The long answer would be best discussed in a coaching session with me. Thank you for asking this question.

Q: I just started my new coaching business. I want to help, assist, support and empower my clients. I heard you speak three years ago; Joyce, and you said something that has stayed with me - in truth, almost haunted me. You recommended that to live in a win/win world a good question to continue to ask ourselves was, "This what I want, do you want it too?" Can I call you so we can discuss this concept in more depth?

A: Absolutely! Click here to arrange for an introductory coaching session session. And…congratulations and good luck in your new business.

Q: If I sign up for coaching or a home study course, or the certification programs, how long does it take before I can start?

Once I receive your request and payment, we begin immediately.

Be sure and check Joyce's home study options. This is a great time to sign up and begin your personal dream journey with Joyce.

How will you express who you are, in this lifetime?
What is the greatest you can imagine being?
What makes your heart sing?

Remember ... If you don’t have a dream, your life will be about your problems.
